Solo exhibition of paintings and graphics by Liliana Dvoryanova, „Red House”, as part of the „Art in Weightlessness” Festival
Lilyana Dvoryanova collaborates with Ani Collier in her dance studio in Gainesville, Florida. She captures the movements of the ballerina at low speed, aiming to use the “smearing” effect to convey the feeling of ethereality and weightlessness of the dancing body – a body that has transcended its corporeality and has become pure energy. Lilyana digitally processes and embellishes the photographs, resulting in impressionistic images saturated with dynamics.
