Solo exhibition of paintings and graphics by Liliana Dvoryanova
The exhibition traces the connections between images and stories characteristic of Liliana Dvoryanova’s works. Her style gained recognition thanks to several exhibitions with a common core, of which “Islands” is a part.
How many islands can a man carry in himself? What is their cartography? What are their coordinates? The grieving island and the savior island, the island that does not want to be visited and the garden island, the flying heart island and the dreaming island… and more and more islands in the sea of human loneliness. But most of all – who is the Lighthouse that lights them to connect with each other and become Earth?
In her work LILIANA DVORYANOVA always presents the world on the edge of the unconscious, with blurred boundaries, without prior conditionality. A meeting place of illustration with techniques from painting and graphics. The artist has been working in the fields of illustration, graphic design, graphics, photography and painting for years.
